We have been receiving requests to run these willow basket weaving classes again. If you would like to take one of these classes in the fall 2019, get in touch and we will add you to the willow list. Once we have scheduled new dates, those on the list will to notified first.

Tatza Bread Basket or Willow Tray (One-day class)

In this full day workshop, we will work with willow, willow bark and/or other natural materials. Participants will have the choice of making either a Polish Bread Basket (a flat basket), called a Tatza basket, or a simple willow tray.

Learn the traditional technique of building a willow frame and the specific weaves that add on to this frame to create the finished piece. If time allows, you may choose to make a second piece in the same style.
