Learn to weave a miniature “fairy” basket made from willow bark, garden leaves and other natural materials. This is a beginner level workshop that will introduce you to fundamental weaving techniques and material preparation.

In this full day class, participants will have time to create two small baskets (2-3”) or one larger vessel (4-5”) in a design of their choosing.

Additionally, a cordage making lesson will also be offered and can be incorporated into the creation of your project.

This course is suitable for ages 10 and up. Those who participate will be practicing fine motor skills for the better part of the day.

No prior weaving experience is required.
