FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FUND
We understand that cost may be a barrier for some people and we hope to make all of our courses available to everyone who is interested.
We have a fund set aside to help supplement course fees. Please don’t hesitate to inquire about this financial assistance.
Our fund fluctuates seasonally. This nest egg is made up of generous donations by friends and strangers, and the sale of vegetables, eggs, poultry and maple syrup on our small farm.
Our small farm houses a half acre of vegetable gardens, a dozen or so laying hens (year round), 35 or so meat birds (hatched in May and harvested in August) and a heavy acre of sugar maples (tapped in early spring).
We sell a wide variety of vegetables, eggs, roasting chickens and maple syrup from our farm gate (fancy term for front porch!).
Half of all our food sales goes towards our Financial Assistance Fund, making our courses more accessible to everyone keen on taking them.
