Herbal Home Care for Cold and Flu Season

As the season shifts and the colder months settle in, it’s a good time to think about ways to help the the whole family stay healthy in winter. Learn how to safely care for mild illness at home with registered herbalist Amber Westfall. Over the course of the day she will share practical herbal strategies that you can use with ease and confidence to navigate winter ailments such as coughs, colds, sore throats, fevers, ear infections, upset tummies and more.

In the first half of the day, we will cover basic prevention strategies, what to do at the first signs of an acute infection, fever support and key herbs to have on hand for the whole household.

In the second half of the day we will craft a herbal preparation together and you can take home your finished creation to begin (or expand) your own home apothecary.

This course is designed to empower you with practical herbal knowledge you can use to support your family, while also helping you feel more prepared and less overwhelmed when illness arises.
