Come learn the art of making leather with Danielle Prophet. In this class we will transform raw skins into durable leather using the very old method of bark tanning. This is an art form that uses tannin liquor, sourced from tree bark to create thicker, durable leather. This type of leather is ideal for wallets, sheaths, belts, shoes etc. You will go home with your finished leather and a small project that we have crafted together on the second day, guided by Willa Murray.
