Join us for a shiitake growing demo and Q&A with neighbourhood mushroom grower Andrew Dumbrille, and go home with an inoculated log.

Andrew has been growing shiitake mushrooms on his homestead for the past 10 years with logs from his FSC certified forest. Andrew will demo the inoculation process and talk about the annual production cycle. Learn from his experience.

Come prepared with your questions regarding best trees, inoculation, spawn, harvesting and preserving shiitake.
