WINTER FUN(draiser) DAY!
Saturday, February 8th, from 1-6pm
RSVPs are required so we can plan for parking and other details.
Suggested donation: $10/adult. Kids are free.
All proceeds go towards our bursary fund. Last year we used $3296.00 from this fund to help 18 people enrol in classes.

We’ll start cooking pizza at 4:00pm. The first ones will be sold by the slice (limited number). Please bring cash for this.
At 5:00 we’ll start cooking your pre-ordered pizzas. You can *eat-in or take-out. *Eat in = outside at our place
Full Pizza: $15 (6 slices)
Serves one very hungry person or two averagely hungry people
Must be ordered and paid for in advance, before Friday Feb 7th.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES & OFFERINGS
Come anytime after 1:00pm to spend an afternoon exploring the forest and pond. There are cross-country ski trails (maps will be provided), from beginner to more advanced forest meanderings.
Wandering by snowshoe or boot is also just as beautiful. The pond (and large island in the middle), with its muskrat homes, beaver lodge and empty heron roosts, is a beautiful and vast space to enjoy.
We will have a bonfire, apple cider and more kid-friendly wintery fun closer to the house/studio. If you’re coming with children, bring your favourite sleds. There is a hill directly behind the studio which is great for smaller children.
Please BYO mug for apple cider. There will be some paper cups but to help us cut down on waste, pack your own.
If you want to order pizza and not participate in the afternoon’s activities, that fine too! Pizza pick-up will be between 5:15 and 5:45pm.
If you cannot attend at all, ordering pizza or otherwise, and wish to contribute the this fund, please get in touch. We are looking forward to welcoming new and repeat teachers and participants this year. These contributions help to make our offerings accessible to all, while compensating and tending to our instructors generously, and therefore creating a sustainable system where everyone benefits.
